Halloween Movies

Hey Aspirers!

I’ve been slacking with my blogs lately. I’ve uploaded videos but I haven’t uploaded a post for you all in awhile. For those that are following me on Instagram (@_cocorenee) you’ve probably noticed I’ve started an October challenge which is to watch 31 Halloween movies this month. The catch is I can only watch movies I haven’t seen already. I have to make time to watch these which is difficult. So far I’ve only watched 23. Yes I know I’m a little behind but I trying to catch up. But, this month isn’t over yet and maybe you might be interested on finding something to watch. I wanted to share with you all a list of movies before Halloween is over.

2018 New Year, New Body

Hi Aspirers there is one thing I’m tired of and that is my weight. Guess what it’s time for a change! Yup I said it a change! When I was in college I lost about 40lbs but over time I’ve gain half of the weight back and I’m not loving it. I still fit in the same size because my weight gain was evently spread out. You know what it’s hard to lose it again. I would exercise and then stop for awhile, then start again and stop for awhile. It felt like a never ending cycle. Recently I figured out why, I was bored. I get bored so easily doing the same workouts. So I decided to create a random workout plan and hopefully it’ll challenge me to continue working out. I chose this workout method for it to be fun and random everyday that I worked out so I won’t get bored. Each time I pick a popsicle stick I won’t know the difficulty level until it’s picked. I’ll be pushing myself daily.

I’m sharing this with you all because I want you to hold me accountable and I would love for you to join in as well. Continue reading and find out my plan for a new body!!

Here’s what you’ll need:


1. Label all your ziplock bags. Label one bag REP or SETS, second bag EXERCISE, and the third bag TIME FRAME (how many seconds, minutes, or times). The markers I bought to write in the bag wasn’t working on the bags so I used paper and taped the labels on like so.

2. After you label your bags it’s time to label your popsicle sticks. For the REP or SETS popsicles I put 2, 3, 4, and 5 reps. You’ll know how many times you’ll have to repeat that one exercise.

3. For the EXERCISE sticks I put random exercises and something fun I decided to add (can you spot it lol). I’m planning on adding more don’t worry. Some of the other exercises that aren’t shown: knee crunches, planks, arm circles, flutter kicks, etc.

5. For the last bag TIME FRAME I wrote multiples of 5s and I wrote up to 50. The reason why I was specific on the time length because it’s based on how long you were planning to workout. Say if you chose to workout for an hour and you randomly selected sit-ups and 50. You then can decide if you want to do sit-ups for 50 seconds, 50 times, or 50 minutes of sit-ups. If you want a good variety of your workout doing the same thing might not be the best thing.

After you labeled your bags and your popsicle sticks it’s time to workout!

My plan is to workout 2-3 days a week for an hour. Once my strength builds up I want to add more difficult exercises so I can continue to progress. If you are trying this method you could create ziplock bags with warm up and cool down options. Make this method your own. I don’t have a personal trainer so I have to do something that’ll work.

Happy New Year’s Eve

Hi Aspirers it’s New Year’s Eve can you believe it? Soon it’ll be goodbye 2016 and hello 2017 but before we say our goodbyes think about what is one thing you wish to bring into the new year and comment below. 

Everything I’ve gone through this year the good and the bad was a learning lesson. This year I’ve noticed I’ve been praying more and more. I pray when I see an accident, a car stalled on the side of the road, when people are sick, when death happens, and I pray just because I want to and also when I need a good pick me up. Prayer will be coming into 2017 with me. I pray that 2017 will be an amazing year. I pray my success in life and my brand Aspire Oneself will continue to grow. I would love to continue with all my Aspirers because at the end of the day we are all aspiring to inspire.

New Year’s Resolution 

2016 is literally around the corner and for a lot of countries it’s already here but for the US we still have a little time to think about what happen in 2015 and focus on a better 2016. 

So what are some of your resolutions? Have you thought about it? I know I have. If you can’t think of any think about what you didn’t complete in the previous years such as I wanted to get fit. Are you fit? If not make that your resolution. Just because you didn’t complete it that year doesn’t mean you should give up. 

Here are my top 3 goals for 2016:

  • Travel (I’m leaving for Hong Kong soon) 
  • Move out and get a new place maybe a loft.
  • Get a blog post publish for a website or magazine. I wouldn’t mine both. 

I think I can accomplish that. I have other things I want to accomplish but I’ll keep them to myself for now.

#wwydWednesday: Staying focus

Hey everyone this week’s post for #wwydWednesday is all about staying focus. We all have a tendency to go off track once in a while and I’m guilty of that for sure. A great way to stay on track is to figure out what is important to you and how you can stay focus on that. 

I came up with some questions you can ask yourself that will help you: 

  1. What are you trying to do? 
  2. Why are you doing it?
  3. What are you doing to keep you going?

I’ll go ahead and answer these myself. 

  1. I want to be build brand that will help people both fashionably and socially. Which means I want help guide people on the right track of style right for them of course while making them more confident in themselves while doing what they love. 
  2. I’m doing this because I want to help people. It’s my nature I always want to guide people in the right direction. Plus I graduated with a B.S. Fashion Merchandise so I want to add that in there as well. 
  3. The things that keep me going is myself because I want to see my self succeed. I’m really into self motivation because you have to tell yourself you can do it. My blog keeps me going. I set a schedule when topics need to be posted. Lastly you all, my readers! I love seeing people follow my page and I really get excited when I see reader from other countries read my blog. Knowing I can make a difference without physically being with you all is AMAZING!

After you were able to find out why and what keeps you focus now you have to figure out how to maintain that focus. For me my how is staying consistent and remember why I’m blogging and building a business from my brand.

#wwydWednesday: Be realistic

A great way to set go goal is create a realistic timeline. My goal right now is saving money. I want to see commas in a bank account, I want to travel, and I want money set aside for every emergency that might happen. The only way I can do that is cut out some spending habits on purchases I can live without. I have to sit down a write out what are for bills, what is for play, and what is for my savings. To make a goal you have to see it in writing like a contract to yourself. Your goal could be week to week, month to month or year to year but what ever you set your goal to make it realistic. You don’t want your deadline to come up and you’re no where near your goal. 

My challenge to you is to set a goal. It could be to save money like myself or plans to go back to school, get on the deans list, or even travel to your favorite country. After you set your goal stick to your goal. I don’t want to hear any if ands or buts about it.

Stay Focus


A lot has been going on and staying focus is the key. This year I’m turning 25!!! A quarter of a century and for years I kept telling myself this is the time things will starting falling into place. Recently I was offered a position I couldn’t say no to. If you know where you want to go, you shouldn’t let nothing hold you back. I mean nothing!

I’ve been unhappy at my current job for a while that’s why I decided to venture off and start my consulting business. I’ve also been applying to different jobs too. I applied for one position at a particular location and was offered the Manager in Training position! Ahhhhhhh so exciting!!!! If you don’t know what the manager in training is it’s a position that will train you to work towards running your own store for a specific company. What is my dream job? Owning my own store and what job is better than this. I’ll get the tools I need to go towards my dream. If you continue to focus on where you want to go and think of ways to get there, you will get everything you want. Just don’t give up.
