My Little Ornament

Hi Aspirers!

Unfortunately I was unable to find the original ornament with my name on it but a newer one will suffice to make my point. Growing up and decorating the Christmas tree my family would add these cute personalize ornaments. We didn’t hand make the ornaments but we wrote our names on them with a silver and gold marker. I was young and I didn’t have neat handwriting and I still don’t but I’ve progressed through the years. On my ornament I tried my best to write my name clearly. Recently I’ve been around more little kids and their parents talking about their first Christmas and I thought to myself when I have children I would want them to create something to show how far they’ve come. They won’t remember writing or creating the ornaments but it’s something for them to look back on and call it theirs.

When you were a child did you create ornaments or something similar for the Christmas tree? If there are any parents reading have you thought about doing that with your children. Leave a comment down below.

What do I miss most?

Hi Aspirers!

I’m the youngest of my siblings. My sister is 15 years older and my brother is 12 years older than me. So once I turned 6 I was the only child in the house and anything before than I can’t really remember. To answer the question of what I miss most is getting a chance to know how Christmas would of been before my siblings moved out.

I grew up as an only child basically but my siblings did as much as they could but the bond between close age siblings to far in age siblings are different. I don’t regret my memories because those are my memories to remember the great times but sometimes I do wonder how was it before I became the “only child”.

What do you miss from the holidays? Comment down below.

Ha-Ha for the holidays

Hi Aspirers!

Tis the season to share and I wanted to share with you a ha-ha moment in my life for the holidays. When I was younger and my sister came in to town for the holidays. I had to be younger that 10. She was in her early 20s. She brought in one of her friends to town from college and we were at the dinner table. For some reason it was either her or I brought up her past boyfriends. All of a sudden I started rambling all the boys she had dated at the table. Her face was in shock because she had no clue how I would of remembered all those names. It was really embarrassing to her because it was at the dinner table. LOL

Do any of you have any ha-ha moments for the holidays? Comment below.
