31 Movies for Halloween 2019: Part 5

Hi Aspirers,

How are you liking all the movies thus far? Any movies that I score less than 3 I wouldn’t even recommend you watching. I’m shocked that Netflix and Hulu categorized some of these as scary/horror movies. Again, these are just my opinions you might score them higher.

Let me reiterate the scoring again. Attention, creativity/psychological, scary/thriller, and gory is rated 1-5. One being the least and five being the most. Now for predictable, it can be a little confusing. One being the most predictable and five being the least predictable. When I score a movie at a 5 on predictable it’s a great thing.

Check out these movies I’ve listed down below. I’m waiting until Halloween to post the last seven movies.

31 Movies for Halloween 2019: Part 4

Hey Aspirers,

I can’t believe this is part 4. It’s been moving pretty fast. Thanks to everyone that has been reaching out to me and I’m enjoying the great discussions about these movies. If you aren’t following me on IG you’re the last one to know which movies I’m watching day by day. It’s a great way to connect with me or you can wait every 5 days until my next post. It’s up to you.

For those that’s been waiting for the next 5 movies check them out below. Again, these ratings are on a scale from 1-5. I want to give some movies a 0 but a 1 is just as bad.

31 Movies for Halloween 2019: Part 1

Hi Aspirers!

I just finished watching 5 movies for 31 movies for Halloween! Like I said in my previous post this year I’ll be rating all the movies that I’m watching. I’m rating them on how well it keeps my attention, creativity and psychological factors, scare and thrill factors, gore, and how predictable it is. (Please note for rating how predictable the movie is 1 being very predictable and 5 being very unpredictable.) After I rate them from 1 to 5 I’ll calculate the overall average of the movie for you. Also, I’ve added the trailer of each movie too.

Of course, you can watch these movies before I post my ratings but if not at least you’ll get an idea if a movie is worth watching. Remember these are my opinions for the movies. I might not like them but you could love them.

The movie Annabelle Creation I purchased this movie from Walmart because it was in the $5 and I’ve been wanting to see this so I just bought. For the other movies on this list, you can find them on Netflix.

Hopefully, you take some time a watch a couple of these. If you do, let me know. Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram and you’ll be the first to know which movies I’ve watched before I post it on my blog.

Hello October

Hi Aspirers!

It’s October and you know what that means? 31 movies for Halloween! I did this last year and I’m doing it again. You can check out last year’s movie posts part 1, part 2, and part 3.

This year I’m going to do something a little different. With each movie, I watch I’m going to also give you all my ratings for this movie and why. I don’t want to waste your time by telling you which movies I watched and some of them aren’t really worth watching in my opinion of course.

Here are the first 3 movies I have lined up to watch:

  • The Invitation
  • The Invisible Guest

I haven’t seen any of these movies. All the movies I’m watching and rating will be my first time watching them.

Sincerely,

Courtney Renee

Halloween Movies

Hey Aspirers!

I’ve been slacking with my blogs lately. I’ve uploaded videos but I haven’t uploaded a post for you all in awhile. For those that are following me on Instagram (@_cocorenee) you’ve probably noticed I’ve started an October challenge which is to watch 31 Halloween movies this month. The catch is I can only watch movies I haven’t seen already. I have to make time to watch these which is difficult. So far I’ve only watched 23. Yes I know I’m a little behind but I trying to catch up. But, this month isn’t over yet and maybe you might be interested on finding something to watch. I wanted to share with you all a list of movies before Halloween is over.

Here are 10 of the movies I’ve watched so far:

1. Jigsaw (Hulu)

2. Truth or Dare (2017) (Netflix)

3. Friend Request (Netflix)

4. Ghost House (Netflix)

5. Delirium (Netflix)

6. Malevolent (Netflix)

7. The 3rd Eye (foreign film, Asian horror film, Netflix)

8. The Tall Man (Netflix)

9. Bleed (Netflix)

10. Seven In Heaven (Netflix)

I hope you enjoyed reading my post. Keep an eye out for the next 10 movies but if you can’t wait go to my Instagram (@_cocorenee) and check out my Halloween story highlighted on my profile. If you watched any of these movies let me know what your thoughts and we can have a discussion about it.

Sincerely,

Courtney Renee
